Andrea Holmes, who had won £2.5 million from the lottery nine years ago, says she still doesn’t own everything she’d like. She treated her mum and dad with a luxury cruise, gave huge amounts of money to her brother and sister, gave up her job as a hairdresser and started up her own beauty spa. But still she’s not fully satisfied. The only thing she misses is love. She is longing for a family of her own, but she thinks men are actually scared off by her bank account. Andrea states: "I'd like to settle down and I believe it will happen some time but it hasn't so far. The money can be an issue for some."
I think we all know that money doesn’t make you happy. And this is the proof for that. She had done everything she wanted and made everyone she loves happy, but she’s still lonely. I can understand that men are scared off by her bank account. Some men think that the man should be the main wage-earner. But isn’t that a little old-fashioned? I thought men were attracted to ‘independent women’? Well, here she is!
I think Andrea Homes will find someone who love her for what she is. Maybe the men she has found up to now got scared of her bank account. It is a good idea that she tries to date someone who doesn't know anything about her, so she knows that he loves her for who she is and not for the figures on her bank account.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think it's just fait. You can own everything in the world, but you can't buy luck. You have to make your own luck. And of course you have to run into the person that is 'that special one', I spent 27 years running already, but I'm still single. Hm, might look up Andrea's address on Google... ;)
