Article

This article tells us the story of James Moore. He had a terrible cycling accident which nearly cost him his life. We all know London is a very dangerous city to cycle in and everyone can tell you a horror story of someone who got hurt or worse. But because of the help of total strangers, James survived and is happy to talk about it. He had a lot of injuries and the doctors even thought that he would not survive. He’s now paralyzed which means he is not able to walk. But this all doesn’t keep him back from doing what he wants to do. He even has his own blog about his recovery in ‘The Independent’ newspaper, coming out soon.

I can really understand how dangerous it is to be a part of the traffic in London. It’s a busy and crowded city. This story won’t be the only one. But because of the help of strangers, this story becomes heroic. Not many people these days are so helpful to others. At least not at risk of their own lives. I’m happy to see James smile on the pictures. He will definitely appreciate life more than before. He is definitely glad to be alive.

1 opmerking:

  1. It's a shame that he became paralized, but he's lucky to still be alive. Funny that you often see people who really embrace life to the fullest after a near death experience. I'm glad this man can still enjoy his family, how awful would it have been if those two adorable kids would have had to go on without their father for the rest of their lives?
